Iranian President to arrive Pakistan tomorrow for two-day official visit

Islamabad: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a two-day official visit, according to a statement issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office.

The visit, scheduled for August 2–3, 2025, is being made at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. President Pezeshkian will be accompanied by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and a high-level delegation.

According to foreign office, during his stay, the Iranian President is expected to hold meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Delegation-level talks between the two countries will also be held to discuss matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.

This marks Dr. Pezeshkian’s first official visit to Pakistan as President of Iran. The Foreign Office noted that the visit will help further strengthen the brotherly relations between the two neighboring countries.

Earlier, on May 27, 2025, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Iran.

In 2024, the former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi had also undertaken a three-day visit to Pakistan.
