Gaza: At least 21 Palestinians were killed and several others injured after Israeli forces opened fire on civilians waiting for humanitarian aid in southern Gaza.

According to the Palestinian ministry of health, most of the victims were reported to be civilians, including women and children.

The ministry stated that a total of 1,924 Palestinians seeking aid have been killed by Israeli attacks so far, with over 14,288 civilians injured since May.

The ongoing Israeli bombardment and attacks have led to a worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. According to the  official figures, more than 44,000 children have been orphaned, while over one million children are suffering from severe psychological trauma and stress.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health revealed that over 100,000 children are now experiencing critical psychological distress, urgently needing international attention and support.

Meanwhile, hospitals across Gaza are facing a dire shortage of medical supplies, with 52% of essential medicines reportedly out of stock. There is also a critical shortage of blood, putting the lives of thousands of patients at risk.

The Ministry of Health has appealed to the international community for immediate intervention and humanitarian assistance to prevent further deterioration of the already catastrophic situation.
