VALENCIA: Pakistan’s rising squash star Hamza Khan has qualified for the final of the $15,000 Valencia Open Squash Tournament currently underway in Spain.
In a thrilling semifinal clash, Hamza defeated France’s Joshua Fenera, staging a remarkable comeback from a 1-2 deficit to win the match 3-2.
The intense five-set battle lasted 49 minutes, with Hamza securing victory with scores of 10-12, 11-6, 5-11, 11-3, and 11-5.
In the final, Hamza Khan will face top seed Spain’s Ikar Peris.
It should be noted that the Valenchia Open Squash in Spain is $ 15,000.
