Abu Dhabi: Group A of the Asia Cup 2025 will conclude today as India face Oman in their final group-stage encounter at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The T20 match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM IST.

India have won both their earlier matches in the group against UAE and another Group A opponent and have already confirmed their place in the Super 4 stage. This match, however, remains important for maintaining rhythm and finalizing combinations ahead of the next round.

Oman, meanwhile, have been eliminated from the tournament after consecutive defeats. They lost their opening game by 93 runs and their second match by 42 runs, ending their hopes of progressing further.

This will be the first T20I encounter between India and Oman, making it a historic fixture for both sides. While the result may not affect the standings, it gives Oman a chance to end their campaign on a high and provides India with an opportunity to test their bench strength if needed.

Abhishek Sharma: The opening batter has made an impact with quick runs at the top and could play a key role in setting the tone early in the innings.

Kuldeep Yadav: With wickets in both matches, the left-arm spinner has been effective in the middle overs and remains central to India’s bowling plans.
