Bella Hadid shares hospital photos amid ongoing health battle

Los Angeles: Supermodel Bella Hadid recently shared a glimpse into her ongoing health journey by posting a series of photos from a hospital stay on Instagram. While the reason for her hospitalization was not disclosed, the post prompted a wave of support from her family, friends, and followers.
In a brief caption, the 28-year-old wrote, “I’m sorry I always go MIA. I love you guys,” expressing gratitude to her fans. The photo set showed Hadid resting in a hospital bed with IV lines, holding a crochet angel, enjoying pizza, and admiring a sunset and rainbow through her window.
Other images featured moments with loved ones playing cards, a garden view, and a candid shot of her sitting in an elevator with damp hair and a coffee cup.
Although no specific medical details were mentioned, comments from close family members hinted at a possible flare-up of Lyme disease a condition Hadid has been battling for years.
Her mother, Yolanda Hadid,, referred to her as a “Lyme warrior” in the comments, while her sister Gigi Hadid added, “I love you! I hope you feel as strong and good as you deserve, soon!!!!!!” Actress Nikki Reed also offered kind words, writing, “Sending you love, light and positive thoughts for healing.”
Hadid was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, along with her mother and brother, Anwar. Over the years, she has spoken openly about the challenges of living with a chronic illness, often highlighting how its invisible nature can lead to misunderstanding and judgment.
In a past update, she shared: “The hardest part of this journey is to be judged by the way you look instead of the way you feel. Life isn’t always what it looks like on the outside.” In 2023, she revealed she was feeling “finally healthy” after undergoing over 100 days of treatment for Lyme and related complications.
