Mass protests demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and condemning Israel’s military actions have erupted across major cities in Europe, Asia, and even within Israel, signaling growing international frustration over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine.

In Athens, hundreds of demonstrators marched through the capital’s streets, waving Palestinian flags and chanting slogans in solidarity with Gaza. Protesters urged the Greek government to cut diplomatic ties with Israel over its ongoing military operations.

In Spain, health workers held a symbolic protest by painting their hands red, representing the bloodshed in Gaza. They staged the demonstration outside government buildings, calling the situation “a medical and moral emergency.”

“We stand not just as doctors and nurses, but as human beings demanding an end to the genocide,” said one protestor in Madrid, as quoted by local media.

Thousands of miles away, in Tokyo, social activists held a peaceful demonstration, marching with Palestinian flags and placards calling for justice and peace. The protest, held outside the Israeli embassy, drew attention from passersby and local media outlets alike.

Notably, protests are also growing within Israel. In Tel Aviv, thousands gathered over the weekend to denounce Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s handling of the war, and to call for a negotiated ceasefire.

“This war has brought nothing but death, pain, and isolation,” said an Israeli protestor. “The government must act now to stop the bloodshed.”

Organizers of the Tel Aviv demonstration also demanded a renewed focus on diplomacy and humanitarian aid, urging Israeli leadership to pursue a peaceful solution rather than continued military aggression.
