Sukkur: A high-level flood continues at Sukkur Barrage, though authorities expect a reduction in water flow within the next 24 hours.

According to reports, floodwaters are now moving towards Kotri Barrage, causing significant damage along the way.

In Rohri, the office of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) located near the riverbank was submerged, forcing officials to shift all records to other offices.

Meanwhile, in Naushahro Feroze, several agricultural embankments have breached. In Taluka Moro, floodwaters entered at least five villages, while in Ghulam Nabi Brohi village, several feet of water accumulated, inundating homes and farmland.

Despite the decline in water levels at the Guddu Barrage, water pressure is maintained in the raw areas

In Larkana, floodwaters reached the Aqil Agani Loop Bund, but residents of the riverine belt have refused to evacuate despite the looming danger.

Meanwhile, in Dadu district, breaches and erosion in agricultural embankments near Mehar allowed floodwaters to inundate several villages in the adjoining Kacha areas.
