Karachi skies set to rumble with rain and thunder

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rainfall in Karachi today, accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas.

According to the latest weather advisory, the city is expected to experience hot and humid conditions throughout the day, with intervals of partly cloudy skies.

The maximum temperature is likely to reach around 36°C, while the minimum recorded earlier today was 28.5°C. Winds are blowing from various directions at speeds ranging between 10 to 30 km/h, contributing to the muggy atmosphere.

Humidity levels are expected to fluctuate between 50% and 85% over the next 24 hours.

Yesterday, the city experienced significantly hotter weather, with the temperature peaking at 39°C.
