PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has approved the launch of the Ehsaas E-Pension System, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026.

Under the new framework, pension payments will be processed entirely through a paperless digital system, replacing the existing manual mechanism. An Ehsaas Pension Dashboard will also be introduced to streamline monitoring and transparency.

According to officials, retiring employees will be able to submit their pension cases six months prior to retirement by filling out a simplified digital form on the designated portal. All supporting documents will be securely scanned and uploaded, after which the system will automatically generate time-bound tasks for the relevant authorities.

The pension verification and approval process will also be digitized, with all orders carrying legally recognized digital signatures. The new system will be fully integrated with NADRA, the Accountant General’s Office, and commercial banks, ensuring smooth and secure transactions.

Authorities said the move aims to enhance efficiency, reduce paperwork, and eliminate delays, providing government retirees with a hassle-free and transparent pension disbursement mechanism.
