Usman Shinwari announces retirement from international cricket
LAHORE: Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Usman Shinwari has announced his retirement from international cricket, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old pacer represented Pakistan in one Test, 17 One-Day Internationals, and 16 Twenty20 Internationals. He was also part of the national squad in the 2018 Asia Cup.
Shinwari claimed 34 wickets in ODIs and 13 in T20Is during his career.
Earlier, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had officially announced a T20I tri-nation series featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, set to take place from November 17 to 29, 2025. This will be the first time Pakistan hosts a T20I tri-series on its home soil.
The upcoming tournament will be held across two venues – Rawalpindi and Lahore. The opening match is scheduled for November 17, featuring Pakistan against Afghanistan in Rawalpindi.
