5.0 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Layyah, Punjab: PMD

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded in Quetta on Sunday evening, the government of Balochistan’s Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said.

According to details surfaced on Sunday, the Seismological Centre recorded the earthquake’s magnitude as 5.0 and its depth at 25 kilometres. The epicentre lay 65 kilometres west of Quetta.

The earthquake created panic in different cities, forcing people to rush out of their homes. However, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
