Karachi:  Renowned actress Amar Khan recently shared candid reflections on the impact of social media, authenticity in friendships, and the layered realities of life in showbiz during an appearance on a private TV show.

Speaking with honesty, Amar Khan expressed concern over how digital platforms have reshaped human connection. “A true friend is someone you can speak to without a reason or a filter. Sadly, social media has made friendship more about appearances than meaning,” she said.

Reflecting on the nature of her profession, she added, “Ordinary people may wear two faces actors wear a hundred. What you see isn’t always what’s real.”

On a personal note, Khan revealed she has received multiple proposals to become a second wife, a role she has firmly rejected. “It’s not something I’ve ever considered,” she stated. She also admitted to once making life difficult for a man she admired, though chose not to reveal his identity.

When asked about her ideal partner, she smiled, “I don’t have in-laws yet, but I do hope my future husband is a romantic.”

Through her words, Amar Khan highlighted the emotional disconnect often masked by social media, and her longing for sincerity in both love and friendship offers a rare glimpse behind the celebrity persona.
