Lahore, Multan Boards announce First Year Examination 2025 results

Lahore/Multan: The Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Lahore and Multan has announced the results for the Intermediate Part-I Annual Examination 2025, providing statistics on student achievement and demographics across both regions.
Lahore Board Highlights:
The BISE Lahore results were formalized by Controller of Examinations Tausif-ur-Rehman and Board Secretary Rizwan Nazir.
Pass Rate: The overall success rate settled at 53.77%.
Performance: Out of 175,950 candidates who sat the exams, 92,541 were deemed successful.
Candidate Pool: The total participants comprised 153,526 regular and 22,424 private students. Female students formed the larger cohort, with 103,260 examinees compared to 72,690 male students.
Subject Distribution: The Science group attracted 108,269 students, significantly overshadowing the Arts group with 67,681 examinees.
The Lahore Board has facilitated student access to their scores via its official website and an SMS results service.
Multan Board Overview:
Concurrently, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Multan announced its First Year Examinations 2025 results. Board Secretary Khurram Shahzad Qureshi and Controller of Examinations Hamid Saeed Bhatti formally released the data online.
Pass Rate: BISE Multan reported a strong pass percentage of 57.46%.
Performance: 42,730 students were declared successful from the 74,329 candidates who appeared for the papers.
Form Submissions: Controller Bhatti noted that the board had initially received 76,044 admission forms.
Gender Breakdown: The board saw participation from 42,000 female and 33,553 male candidates.
Multan students can check their individual results through the official BISE Multan website or by using the board’s designated SMS service number.
