LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the full list of match officials for the upcoming home series against South Africa, beginning October 12. Veteran ICC match referee Ranjan Madugalle will oversee the entire multi-format series, which includes two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is.

Match officials appointed across formats:

Test Series:

1st Test (Oct 12–16): Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
On-field umpires: Rod Tucker (Australia), Christopher Brown (New Zealand)

2nd Test (Oct 20–24): Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium
On-field umpires: Christopher Brown, Sharifuddoula Saikat (Bangladesh)

T20I Series:

1st & 2nd T20Is:
Umpires: Muhammad Asif, Rashid Riaz

3rd T20I:

Umpires: Rashid Riaz, Faisal Khan

1st ODI: Sharifuddoula Saikat, Asif Yaqoob

2nd ODI: Alex Wharf (England), Ahsan Raza

In ILT20 news, Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman has been signed by the Desert Vipers for the upcoming season at a contract value of $80,000. This will be Fakhar’s second appearance for the franchise, following a solid performance in the third edition, where he amassed 222 runs with two half-centuries, averaging 27.75 at a strike rate of 134.54.

Meanwhile, veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin remained unsold in the draft.

In a notable signing, UAE fast bowler Junaid Siddique was picked by the Sharjah Warriors for $170,000, making him one of the top local acquisitions of the tournament.
