The latest data from July to September 2025 shows that small cars like the Alto are still leading in sales because they are affordable and fuel-efficient.

Toyota and Honda continue to perform well in the 1300cc and above category, attracting city families and professionals. The Suzuki Every is also becoming more popular as people show increased interest in practical and multi-purpose vehicles.

In the mid-size and premium sedan category, Toyota continued to lead the market. The company produced 7,806 units of its Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla Cross models between July and September 2025, with sales reaching 7,570 units during the same period.

Honda’s Civic and City also performed well, with total production of 4,076 units and sales of 3,819 units. Although there was a slight dip in sales in August, the brand recovered in September.

Hyundai’s Elantra and Sonata had relatively lower figures, selling a combined total of 599 units, which shows their smaller presence in the premium sedan segment.

In the 1000cc category, Suzuki continued to dominate. The Suzuki Cultus recorded 1,216 units produced and 1,163 sold in the quarter. However, the WagonR experienced a drop, with only 53 units sold, showing that customer preferences are changing.

Small cars under 1000cc remained the core of Pakistan’s passenger car market. Suzuki Alto topped the list again with 17,365 units produced and 11,238 sold in the third quarter of 2025. The new Suzuki Every also gained attention, with 1,002 units produced and 1,327 sold, suggesting rising demand for compact multi-purpose vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Suzuki Bolan, once popular for commercial use, had no production figures for this quarter, hinting at a possible pause in its manufacturing.
