Petrol, diesel prices likely to go up slightly from Nov 1

KARACHI: The government is considering a minor revision in petroleum prices, with a proposal for a slight increase in petrol and diesel rates, sources revealed on Thursday.

According to the sources, an increase of Rs1.73 per litre in petrol and Rs2.25 per litre in high-speed diesel has been recommended.

If approved, the price of high-speed diesel will rise from Rs275.41 to Rs277.66 per litre, while petrol will go up from Rs263.02 to Rs264.75 per litre.

The revised prices, once approved, will take effect from November 1.
