Petrol prices expected to decrease in Pakistan from October 16

According to reports, petrol prices are likely to decrease by Rs6.10 per litre, while high-speed diesel may become cheaper by 97 paisa per litre.

The price of kerosene is expected to fall by Rs2.75 per litre, and light diesel oil may see a reduction of Rs1.64 per litre.

The petroleum industry has completed its price calculations and submitted them to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). OGRA will now send its summary of proposed price changes to the Petroleum Division, which will forward it to the Ministry of Finance later today.

The Ministry of Finance will then discuss the summary with the Prime Minister and give the final approval for the new petroleum prices tomorrow.
