PM reaffirms commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s economy

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed that strengthening Pakistan’s economy on solid foundations remains the top priority of his government.
He was chairing a high-level meeting on foreign investment in Pakistan, attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, and Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar.
Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz emphasized that the recent positive economic indicators reflect the growing confidence of foreign investors in Pakistan’s economy.
The Prime Minister said that the government will use all investment opportunities to increase public welfare and employment opportunities. The private sector will play an important role in planning economic activities.
He directed the concerned ministries and institutions to ensure all facilities to international investors and said that strengthening Pakistan’s economy on a strong basis is the top priority of his government.
