Police take action over loud Naseebo Lal song in Okara

In Okara, a man has been booked under the Punjab Sound System Regulation Act for playing a popular song by Naseebo Lal at a loud volume while driving a rickshaw.

According to police, the man was operating the rickshaw on the road with the music playing loudly. Authorities took notice of the disturbance and initiated legal proceedings against him.

A police spokesperson stated,
“The law is applicable to everyone without exception. No one is allowed to cause noise pollution or violate public regulations.”

The case has sparked debate among locals. Some argue that listening to music is a personal right, whereas others believe it causes noise pollution and disrupts public peace.
