Stage actress and dancer Muniba Shah was shot dead in Peshawar after unidentified gunmen opened fire on a rickshaw travelling along Ring Road, police reported.

The attack took place within the Machni Gate Police Station limits. According to police, the assailants targeted the rickshaw, resulting in Muniba Shah’s death at the scene, while the driver sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the shooting, the suspects fled the area. Law enforcement has begun gathering forensic evidence and launched a search operation to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
