Pakistani music legend, songwriter, and founder of the iconic band Strings, Faisal Kapadia, recently revealed a personal family secret that will leave everyone stunned.

Faisal, who alongside Bilal Maqsood revolutionized Pakistani pop and rock music from 1989 to 2021, opened up in an exclusive interview with City 1016 in Dubai, shedding light on his connection to Bollywood star Dimple Kapadia.

 

In a candid moment, Faisal shared, “Dimple Kapadia is actually my niece. Her late father, Chunni Bhai Kapadia, was my cousin. He had visited Pakistan in 1984 for a cousin’s wedding, where I sang. He promised me that he would take me to Bollywood one day, but sadly, he passed away before he could fulfill that promise.”
