In a recent interview, clips of which have gone viral on social media, Abbasi confirmed that he was diagnosed with nephritis during his early years, a condition that affects the kidneys.

He shared that he was around 8 to 12 years old when he went through a very painful period, explaining that nephritis causes the kidneys to fail without any apparent reason.

The actor recounted how his mother had laid out her prayer mat and wept before Allah, praying for his recovery. “Thank God, I was blessed with healing,” he said, reflecting on the difficult time in his life.

During the program, Abbasi also shared a story about his mother, with whom he made a deal. He told her that if he passed the CSS exam, he would not pursue a job afterward. To his mother’s delight, he passed the exam with good marks.

He further mentioned that he underwent training and was recruited into the police department, but despite his mother’s strong insistence on continuing the job, Abbasi had a different dream.
