Irfan Jnr. banned for five matches over ball-tampering

Pakistani fast bowler Irfan Jnr. has recently been found guilty of ball-tampering during a match in Australia. As a result, he has been handed a five-match suspension, according to Australian media reports.
Australian media reported that umpires accused Irfan Jnr. of tampering with the condition of the ball during a Victoria Premier League match.
After an investigation, the Cricket Victoria Tribunal found him guilty of the offense and imposed a five-match ban.
Irfan Jnr. previously played First-Class cricket in Pakistan and represented several franchises in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He moved to Australia a few years ago and began playing for a local club.
Having moved to Australia, Irfan Jnr. became eligible to compete in Australian domestic cricket tournaments. However, this recent incident has now cast a shadow over his participation.
