SHIKARPUR/KARTARPUR: The three-day celebrations marking the 556th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji have commenced at the Kartarpur Corridor.

According to the shrine administration, thousands of Sikh pilgrims from Pakistan and around the world are arriving in Kartarpur. Today, around 2,000 pilgrims are expected to reach Kartarpur via the Wagah border. After spending two days at the shrine, the pilgrims will proceed to Eminabad on November 10 for further religious ceremonies.

Pilgrims have once again called for the complete opening of the Kartarpur Corridor from India to allow more devotees uninterrupted access to Darbar Sahib.

The shrine administration has made special arrangements for security, accommodation, medical facilities, and langar services during the celebrations, ensuring all amenities for the convenience of the visiting pilgrims.
