Key agenda set for PSL’s growth in 2026-2027 seasons

A crucial meeting took place today at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), where the management of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and representatives from all six franchises gathered.
The meeting, called by the franchise owners, aimed to discuss the league’s future direction, especially focusing on the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

The PSL is set for major developments, including:
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that two new teams will join the PSL. Franchise tenders for these teams will be issued in November.
A new deal will be signed with the current franchises this month, marking the end of the league’s first decade.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer revealed that matches will soon be played at new venues. Along with Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, games will also be hosted in Faisalabad and Peshawar.
