American footballer Lauren Turner tragically passed away six weeks after suffering severe injuries in a horrific traffic accident.

According to reports from American media, the talented football player from California State Fullerton University had been in a coma for nearly six weeks before succumbing to her injuries.

The incident occurred on September 27, when the 19-year-old Lauren Turner was struck from behind by a truck while riding her electric motorcycle.

The collision left her severely injured, and she spent several weeks in the ICU. During the accident, one of her teammates was also injured.

In a similar tragic incident, a former Bosnian footballer Mladen Zizovic suddenly collapsed and passed away during a football match in Serbia. Prior to the match, he had expressed concerns after eating fish, which raised suspicions about his health.
