PMD predicts dry weather across Pakistan, cold in mountains

KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a continuation of cooler nights in Karachi, though daytime temperatures are expected to remain high.

The overall weather in the city is anticipated to stay hot and dry in the coming days.

As of today, the minimum temperature recorded in Karachi is 16°C, with the maximum expected to reach 35°C.

A light easterly breeze is blowing at a speed of 4 km/h, with the humidity level at 34%.

The PMD has also indicated that there is no significant chance of rainfall in the city until next week.

 

Weather forecast for other regions of Pakistan:

Dry conditions are expected across most parts of the country today. Cold weather is predicted to continue in the mountainous regions of Pakistan.

Punjab: Light fog or smog is likely in some areas of the plains, although the rest of the region will remain dry.

Islamabad and Surroundings: Dry weather with cooler temperatures is expected in the mornings and evenings.

Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan: Both regions are forecasted to experience cold and dry weather.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Most districts will experience dry weather, with colder conditions anticipated in the hilly areas.

Sindh: Hot and dry weather will persist across the majority of Sindh’s districts.

Balochistan: The majority of Balochistan will experience dry weather, with colder temperatures expected in the northern parts of the province.

Northern Balochistan: Strong winds are forecast for the afternoon, and colder temperatures are expected in the northern areas.

Overall, the weather across Pakistan is expected to remain predominantly dry, with variations in temperature across different regions.
