Lily Collins has opened up about how becoming a mother for the first time made filming the new season of Emily in Paris more challenging than ever.
The 36-year-old actress, who welcomed her baby daughter through surrogacy in January, shared that juggling motherhood with work was not easy while shooting the latest season of the hit Netflix series. Speaking to the media, Lily admitted that the experience was emotionally and physically demanding.
She explained that life feels very different after becoming a mother, adding that balancing both roles was a real struggle. However, she said she feels thankful that she was able to manage her responsibilities as a new mum while continuing to work.
Lily also shared that she asked her team for understanding during filming, saying that while she usually has no trouble remembering her lines, this year was different. She admitted she was running on very little sleep and often felt exhausted, which sometimes affected her energy on set.
