This month marks the completion of three years of illegitimate revocation of the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). As India continues its nefarious design on the region and its military siege, Pakistan has stood firm regarding the rights of the people of IIOJK and has pointed out the gross human rights violation Kashmiris must face each day.

Keeping this in view, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu has expressed his resolve to stand with brave and resilient people of IIOJK in their peaceful struggle against Indian oppression. In his message, he said that for the sake of fairness, justice and human dignity, it is imperative that the international community should come forward with practical steps that would force India to reverse its present course against the Kashmiri people. He further said that, India must realise that martyrdom of each Kashmiri and destruction of each Kashmiri house would only further strengthen the Kashmiris’ resolve for freedom from the ongoing illegal occupation. Throughout the Kashmiris’ struggle, Pakistan has always stood by its Kashmiri brethren for their legitimate freedom struggle, said the Air Chief.
