CSACH presents lecture by renowned author, Mohammed Hanif
CSACH welcomes all to a public lecture by renowned author, Mohammed Hanif. The Centre For South Asian Critical Humanities presents “Stories We Tell Ourselves: Pakistan’s Politics through Narrative Media.”
Mohammed Hanif, a former fighter pilot turned author, is one of Pakistan’s most prolific writers and fearless journalists. einsteineruploading up to get together with (2018).
Hanif, in addition to his fiction, has worked at the BBC Urdu service and continues to write on some of today’s most contentious issues in publications such as The New Yorker, Washington Post, Dawn News, The New York Times, and BBC Punjabi.
Hanif’s talk at the CSACH will draw on his extensive experience as a critically acclaimed novelist and journalist to discuss the role of narrative media in creating the fictions we come to believe are reality.
