The tour continues with stops in Montreal, Calgary, and Edmonton before concluding with a concert in Vancouver.

Join there for “Geeton Bhari Shaam,” a captivating performance featuring International Sufi/Bollywood Singer/Artist Jamil Assani from Los Angeles, California, as well as the multi-talented Bollywood Singer/Artist Nazia Amin Mohammad from Dubai, UAE, who will be visiting Canada from April 14th to April 23rd and accompanied by a live orchestra.

Jamil Assani has performed in over 15 different countries. He has also performed with Muni Begum in the presence of Pakistan’s former President, Pervez Musharraf, as well as the Shukran Concert Series – Expression of Feelings alongside talented and soulful voices of Internationally acclaimed world renowned artists and accompanied by live orchestra who performed to thousands of people at the Sony Stage, Patio Mela in Lisbon Portugal during the Diamond Jubilee Celebration and culmination of His Highness’s 60 years of Imamat.

Nazia Amin Mohammad is a multi-talented singer/artist currently based in Dubai. Nazia was born in Karachi and has Indian and East African ancestors.

She specialises in a wide range of musical genres and has performed in 33 languages. Many Canadians became acquainted with Nazia’s work as a result of her online performances during the pandemic.

As a Dubai-based vocalist, she performs in both private and public venues throughout the UAE, most recently in Muscat for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture celebrations.

Some of Nazia’s most memorable performances were with the Firdaus Orchestra in the presence of the great KS Chitra and maestro AR Rahman.

Nazia is the lead for the Aga Khan Orchestra in Dubai, in addition to her work with the Youth and Sports Board, HR Committee, and Arts and Culture initiatives. Nazia works as an executive business manager for a conglomerate group of companies in Dubai during the day.
