Spokesperson Foreign Office Dr Faisal in weekly briefing said that India must remember 27 Feb episode before any adventure.

Spokesperson FO said that we reject Indian constitutional change regarding Kashmir and abrogation of Article 370 and 35A.

Kashmir is turned into world’s largest prison after lockdown. Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the United Nations resolutions, he added.

Pakistan will keep supporting Kashmir diplomatically, politically and morally in their struggle for freedom, Spokesperson FO added.

Dr Faisal further added that Pakistan is not sending his high commissioner to India. India must remember the episode of 27 February before taking any step.

Fear is not a word in the dictionary of the Muslims, he added.

Situations in Kashmir are deteriorating. Permanent members of Security Council in Islamabad are briefed about Kashmir issue, Dr Faisal said.

International community must take notice of Indian clampdown on Kashmir, he added.

Previously, Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) summoned the Indian deputy high commissioner to lodge a protest against fresh ceasefire violations along the Line of Control on July 22 and July 23.

The Indian forces along the Line of Control and the Working boundary are continuously targeting civilian populated areas with heavy weapons.

This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed 1970 ceasefire violations.

The deliberate targeting of civilian populated areas is indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity, international human rights and humanitarian laws.

The ceasefire violations by India are a threat to regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation.
