Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulates chairman senate on evading vote of no-confidence. PM said that senate members voting in favor of you shows their trust and your leadership qualities.

According to the details, Imran Khan met Sadiq Sanjrani in PM house here on Friday.

PM congratulated chairman senate on regaining his seat as chairman.

PM further said that chairman senate will continue to work professionally as he did before.

Previously, PM also congratulated chairman senate for victory in evading vote of no-confidence motion in senate yesterday.

This was the first time in history of senate that a motion was passed to remove chairman senate and deputy chairman senate from their seats. Although after secret balloting both officials remained as chairman and deputy chairman senate.

Earlier yesterday, PTI government succeeded and the opposition failed, as the no confidence motion against the chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has been unsuccessful. Sadiq Sanjrani will remain chairman of the upper house.

According to the details, the voting against the chairman of the Senate completed and opposition no confidence motion has been failed.

Total 50 members cast their votes out of 45 were cast against the no-confidence motion while five votes were rejected.

Government benches chanted slogans in the House and congratulate Sadiq Sanjrani.
