President Arif Alvi approves military honors for the officer and sailors of Pak Navy.

According to spokesperson Pak Navy President Arif Alvi has approved Sitara-e-Bisalat military honor for Lieutenant Commander Humair Iftikhar and Lieutenant Commander Khurram Dawood for identifying Indian submarine in Pakistan’s territorial waters.

During Indo-Pak tensions, these officers were able to identify Indian submarine intruding in Pakistan’s territorial waters.

Captain Eliya Hassan has also been approved to receive Tamgha-e-Bisalat for successful operational deployment in Indian waters of Pakistani submarine.

According to spokesperson Pak Navy, three Rear Admiral will receive Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), 14 officers will receive Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), and 13 officer will receive Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military).

Two officer of Pak Navy have been approved to receive Sitara-e-Bisalat, two officers and six staff will receive Tamgha-e-Bisalat.

Spokesperson Pak Navy said that these military honors are evidence of hard efforts of Navy in keeping the maritime security of Pakistan intact.
