DSP Khanpur martyred and one constable injured during a raid to free abductees in Garhi Teigo. Kidnappers opened fire as police arrived at the scene.

DSP Rao Shafiullah and his team were participating in a raid to free artist Jigar Jalal who was abducted from Garhi Teigo. Rao Shafiullah belongs to Sukkur.

While addressing a press conference yesterday DSP Rao Shafiullah warned that if singer Jigar Jalal and his friends are not released he will arrest the head of the Teigani clan.

Today when the police raided the house of the clan head, cross firing happened in which DSP was martyred while one constable was injured.
