Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor stated that Defense day will be celebrated just like yesteryear, in memory of the sacrifices given by the soldiers of Pakistan army.

Major General Asif Ghafoor took his twitter to mention that Defense day will be celebrated on September 6, to pay homage to the martyrs and ghazis.

“Like last year, let’s reach out to families of our shaheeds. Every shaheed be remembered”, DG ISPR stated in his tweet.

Last week, A conference was held at the ISPR HQ in Rawalpindi, regarding Defense and Martyrs Day to be marked on 6th of this month.

Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the main ceremony of the day will be held at GHQ.

He said this time the ceremony will be held in day time instead of evening and only families of martyrs and Ghazis will attend the ceremony.

Major General Asif Ghafoor said that a program was launched last year to go to the house of every martyr.

This year also we will reach out to the residence of every martyr.

He appealed the people to visit the bereaved families of martyrs and express their gratitude to them.

Asif Ghafoor said that the pictures of martyrs will be put on display.

He said the great nations always remember their martyrs.

The Major General said that ceremonies to mark the day will also be held in each formation and different cities.

In connection with the Defense day, weapons’ exhibitions will also be held in cantonments.

‘Kashmir Banay Ga Pakistan’ will also be part of celebrations.

Yesterday, DG Inter Services Public Relations Pakistan (ISPR), Asif Ghafoor took his twitter to give a message after Pakistan’s flag was waved in India.

According to details, DG ISPR Major Asif Ghafoor shared an Indian Channel’s news of Pakistani flag being waved in India and wrote, “TIME NOW: Kashmir will become Pakistan”

During an election campaign in Salma Arts and Science College of Kerala, 25 students were booked after waving a Pakistan flag, whereas, one of them was taken into custody.
