Modi’s statement exemplifies the hate campaign against Pakistan: FO

Foreign Office spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal has reacted to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statements linking Pakistan to terrorism.

According to the details, Dr. Muhammad Faisal has said that Narendra Modi’s statement exemplified the Indian government’s hate campaign against Pakistan.

The Foreign Office said that India’s statements against Pakistan, could not divert the attention of the international community from the Indian state terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, and the unilateral action of August 5.

Regarding linking Pakistan to terrorism, Dr. Muhammad Faisal said that India’s August 5 move has transformed Jammu and Kashmir into the world’s largest prison and the curfew and lockdown entered into the 40th day from August 4.

Foreign Office Spokesman Dr. Mohammad Faisal asked India to focus on the voices raised by Kashmiri people rather than making false statements.

Earlier, President Arif Alvi said that the International community has condemned Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and supported Pakistan’s stance that Kashmir is not the internal matter of India.

“Indian violated the resolutions of the United Nation (UN) and Simla agreement by scrapping Article 370,” said President Arif Alvi while addressing a joint session of the parliament at the beginning of the second parliamentary year of the National Assembly under the PTI-led government.

The members of the opposition started raising slogans against the PTI government as soon as President Alvi started his speech.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, military leadership, diplomats, all four Governors, Chief Ministers are attending a joint session of parliament.

Meanwhile, the session of the National Assembly will commence on Friday at 10 am.

President had summoned both the sessions in the exercise of powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
