PM directs KP ministers to provide relief to the people

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday directed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ministers to serve and provide relief to the people of the province.

The prime minister met with provincial cabinet members and reviewed the one year performance of the government in Peshawar.

During the meeting, Imran Khan said that a crackdown should be launched against adulteration in the province and the patwar system will have to be made more transparent.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan presented the one-year performance of the provincial ministers.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Queshi, KP Governor Shah Farman, Chief Minister Mehmood Khan, Advisor to KP CM on merged districts Ajmal Wazir and Chief Secretary KP Salim Khan were also present on the occasion.

The premier also questioned regarding different departments, while the KP CM briefed Imran Khan over one-year performance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

Imran Khan said that digitalizing land record is necessary as it would help resolve property disputes.

Earlier in a day, Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and condemned the terrorist attack on his election rally in Parwan province.

PM Imran, during the telephonic conversation with the Afghan president, conveyed his immense grief over loss of precious lives in the terrorist attack.

On the occasion, PM Imran reiterated that Pakistan will continue to support Afghanistan for regional peace and stability.
