PM Imran summons cabinet meeting today

Prime Minister Imran Khan summoned cabinet meeting today to discuss several issues including up-to-date situation in Occupied Kashmir.

The premier would take the cabinet into confidence about closing airspace for India and ongoing situation in Indian held Kashmir.

The Cabinet will also give approval to appointment of Federal Minister Fahmida Mirza as Chairperson Federal land Commission, appointment of private members in Railway board, establishing committee for finalizing first Islamic Calendar and approval to Real State Regulation and Development Ordinance 2019.

The cabinet will also review to permanent services of several daily wages employees of federal educational institutions.

The appointment of Executive Director Pakistan Health Research Council is also part of the agenda.

Earlier in a day, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Air Headquarters, Islamabad today and laid floral wreath at Martyrs monument.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan has appreciated Pakistan Air Force’s contributions in war against terrorism, various Nation Building activities and positive image projection of Pakistan.

He also lauded PAF’s role in ensuring aerial defense of the country specially the one displayed during February this year.

Earlier, upon his arrival at Air Headquarters Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan welcomed him and he was presented guard of honor.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Adviser to PM Imran Khan on Finance and Revenue Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, Minister for Defense Production Ms. Zubaida Jalal Khan and Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting accompanied PM.
