PM’s plane makes emergency landing in New York after technical fault

The plane carrying Prime Minister Imran Khan made emergency landing in New York after developing a technical fault while heading to Pakistan.

The prime minister had taken off from New York’s Kennedy International Airport but flew back to New York in a couple of hours to have the problem fixed. Prime Minister Imran Khan stay in New York for longer than planned.

Sources said, Prime minister has been escorted back to the Roosevelt Hotel under strict security, where he was staying during his seven-day trip.

The prime minister’s plane made an emergency landing after a fault noticed in the navigation system of the aircraft, which is now being fixed by US aviation staff.

Special Assistant to PM Naeem ul Haque took twitter to inform about the situation.

The premier was coming back to Pakistan in a plane owned by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

While addressing the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday the Prime Minister Imran Khan said that it’s an honor for him to represent Pakistan in the UNGA forum and his speech was based on 4 point agenda.
