Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the nation has expressed the spirit of sacrifice in Earthquake 2005.

According to the details, PM Imran Khan has sent a special statement in solidarity with the tragic earthquake that had happened on 5th October 2019. He said that he shares condolences with victims who have unfortunately lost their loved ones.

PM Imran Khan said that the earthquake has left unforgettable memories of sorrow, destruction, and pain, but Pakistani people have expressed the spirit, sacrifice and human friendship.

He said that the system at that time was not capable of handling the situations. He said that now they have formed an influencing disaster management system through the parliament act. He also said that they are passionate to make the system better and strong.

PM also said that he wants to pay tribute to the victims of the recent earthquake that happened in Mirpur, Azaad Kashmir. He also said that he will support them till the situations come back to normal completely, the government will take influencing steps to handle the troubles.

PM Imran Khan said that the day of 8th October will spread the message of protection, preparation, self-reliance, he is hopeful that people will take more interest in disaster management.

It should be noted that fourteen years have passed since the destructive earthquake happened in 2005 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azaad Kashmir. More than 80 thousand people had died in this tragic event. This event had turned several cities over into destructive places, as the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.6.
