Prime Minister Imran Khan met Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar in Islamabad.

CM Punjab apprised Imran Khan about strategy related to Azadi March and sit-in of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F).

During the meeting the, Chief Minister also briefed Imran Khan about the political situation, Punjab government performance and dengue in Punjab, doctors’ protest and development plans.

Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan tasked Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri to contact Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

The Premier asked the federal minister to present recommendations regarding JUI-F’s sit-in while summoning details of Fazlur Rehman’s expected sit-in.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) had announced that his party will march towards Islamabad on October 27.

The JUI-F leader told reporters in Islamabad the ‘Azadi March’ will begin on October 27 and it is aimed at toppling Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government.

October 27 is observed as ‘Black Day’ in Indian-controlled Kashmir. Fazl said the final destination of the march would be Islamabad’s D-Chowk.

The JUI-F leader clarified that the march would be completely peaceful as he didn’t want any clash with the state institutions. He said that the JUI-F won’t change Azadi March’s date.

Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif said that anybody who loves Pakistan would follow Maulana Fazlur Rehman, quoted Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar.

While speaking to the media after meeting his father-in-law and Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat Jail, where the former Premier is serving a jail term, he said Maulana’s march was against a system that has stopped a batter system from prevailing.
