Five of a family have been killed in firing over land dispute in Mardan.

According to the local police, dispute erupted over land ownership. Suspects broke into the house and opened fire after an argument, which resulted in the death of a woman, her three sons and granddaughter.

Suspects, who managed to escape the crime scene, are being traced down by the police after filing the case.

The accused and victims are paternal cousins, Police claimed.
