It’s PM’s mission to promote standard education: Dr. Firdous Ashiq

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has stated that it’s Prime Minister Imran Khan’s mission to promote standard education in country.

According to details, Firdous Ashiq tweeted that fifty thousand scholarships will be granted to the students of needy families in next four years for uplift of education sector across the country.

She said two percent quota would be for the disabled and minorities. She said children hailing from a family with an income of less than 45,000 rupees will be eligible for the programme.

The Special Assistant on Information said nearly one hundred and twenty universities would benefit from this programme.

She said Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated his resolve that the Evacuee Property Trust Board land would be used for establishing educational institutions and hospitals.
