Agreement of Kartpur corridor will be signed between Pakistan and India today.

According to details, agreement ceremony will be held at Kartarpur zero line, in which the historic agreement will be signed by the Foreign Office spokesman, Director General of South Asia and SAARC, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, from Pakistan’s side.

Earlier, it was announced that Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate much awaited Kartarpur Corridor on November 9.

According to the details, PM Imran shared a post on his facebook account, saying that Pakistan is opening its doors to Sikh community from all over the world. Sikhs even from India, will be able to visit the world’s largest Gurdwara.

Pakistan is all set to become religious hub for Sikhs from all across globe, construction work on Kartarpur project enters final stages and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan for Sikh community on 9th November.

Earlier, Pakistan formally invited former prime minister of India Manmohan Singh to attend the opening ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor on the occasion of the 550th Birth Anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.

Manmohan Singh accepted the invitation to be a part of the inauguration ceremony of Kartarpur Gurdwara.

Indian CM’s spokesperson took his twitter to share the news that Former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh has accepted the invite to join 1st Jatha to Sri Kartarpur Gurdwara on Nov 9, will also attend Sultanpur Lodhi main event of “550 years Guru Nanak”.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi underscored that the Kartarpur Corridor opening was a special occasion and Pakistan wanted the former Indian prime minister to be part of the historic moment.

A formal invitation was extended to the Congress leader as well, said FM Qureshi.

The Kartarpur Corridor, which will be the first visa-free route between Pakistan and India, is expected to open on November 11.
