Prime Minister Imran Khan aims to reduce tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

For this purpose, PM Imran will visit Saudi Arabia on October 15 (today).

According to the details, the mission to reduce conflict between Tehran and Riyadh is underway.

Imran Khan has returned back Pakistan after his official one-day Iran visit.

During PM’s visit to Riyadh, Imran Khan will meet King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman where issues of mutual interest and tensions in the region will be discussed.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived Tehran on his official one-day Iran visit on Sunday.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif welcomed PM at the airport.

According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, the DG ISPR was also accompanied by the Prime Minister.

PM held meetings with the Iranian leadership, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Dr. Hassan Rouhani.

PM underscored the importance of historical and cultural relations between Pakistan and Iran and reaffirmed cooperation in various fields.

Besides issues relating to peace and security in the Gulf, bilateral matters and important regional developments were discussed.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PM Imran is going to make an effort to maintain peace in Pakistan.

Fighting between the oil-producing forces will not give a good result, FM said.
