Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan says opposition has become a symbol of political hypocrisy as PML-N and PPP have been doing politics with JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

In a series of tweets on Thursday, she said the two major opposition parties want to use innocent and non-political students of seminaries for their political gains through Maulana Fazlur Rehman, which is regrettable.

She said the two parties also do not want to take risk of standing by Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

She raised a point as to how the leaders, who are not fair to one another, can speak truth to people.

The Special Assistant said Maulana Fazlur Rehman should understand the real designs of the two political parties as they want to use him for their political interests.

She said Maulana Fazlur Rehman should rather raise his voice for the oppressed Kashmiris and target fascist Modi in his criticism.

Moreover, the chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad here on Thursday.

The meeting between the opposition leaders continued for more than one hour which was also attended by PPP central leaders including Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Farhatullah Babar and Naveed Qamar.

Sources said that the opposition leaders failed to reach any agreement for the next strategy of the anti-government movement as Bilawal returned from his residence without interacting with the media.
