Malaysia’s position on occupied Kashmir is commendable: FM Qureshi

Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, Malaysia’s stance on Occupied Kashmir is commendable.

According to the details Foreign Minister of Pakistan went to Malaysia on his official visit.

Shah Mahmood also met with the Foreign Minister of Malaysia, Saif Uddin Abdullah.

Both the leaders discuss the matters of economics, trade and other mutual interests.

Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah and Shah Mahmood Qureshi also discussed matters of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and regional security situation.

FM Qureshi informed his Malaysian counterpart about the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said the people of Kashmir are looking towards the international community especially the Muslim Ummah to get them freed from the Indian oppression.

Speaking on the occasion, the Foreign Minister said, we welcome the irrevocable and strong support of Malaysia on the Kashmir issue.

It is also admirable that Malaysia did not change its stance under the pressure of Kashmir.

Both the foreign ministers agreed to continue the process of consultations on regional peace and stability.

There is a long and deep friendship between Pakistan and Malaysia, he added.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said, economic cooperation between the two countries would be very helpful and useful in achieving common goals of construction and development.
