Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the people rejected the JUI (F) protest and undemocratic tactics proving that they do not support extremism.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, she said the people thwarted all the plans of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and that is why he had to rely on the exit plan. Maulana Fazlur Rehman came and left Islamabad empty-handed.

مولانا صاحب آپ جس طرح خالی ہاتھ اسلام آباد آئے تھے، ویسے ہی خالی ہاتھ واپس لوٹ گئے۔ آپ کی کی سیاسی جڑیں عوام نے کاٹیں لیکن آپ جمہوریت سے بدلہ لینے پر تل گئے۔ قوم نے دیکھ لیا کہ کون اسلام آباد سے چلتا بنا اور ہل کر باہر جا گرا۔

The Special Assistant said the people have also rejected the roadblock plan of the JUI (F). She said Maulana should not spoil his political future by creating hurdles of ego in the way of democracy. Instead of showing political madness, Maulana Fazlur Rehman should go back to his constituency.

عوام نے آپ کو مسترد کرکے ثابت کیا کہ وہ انتہا پسندی کے ساتھ نہیں۔عوام نے آپ کے سارے پلان چوپٹ کر دئیے اور آپ کو پلان "ایگزٹ" کا سہارا لینا پڑا۔

The Special Assistant said the government demonstrated democratic posture by resorting to patience. We also accepted the right of protest of the JUI (F).

"روڈز بلاک"پلان بھی عوام نے مسترد کردیا۔ مولانا جمہوریت کے راستے میں انا کی رکاوٹیں کھڑی کرکے اپنا سیاسی مستقبل خراب نہ کریں، حلقے میں جائیں، سیاسی طور پر ہلکے نہ ہوں۔ مولانالشکر کشی اور غیر جمہوری ہتھکنڈوں میں ناکامی کے بعد اپنی خفت مٹانے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں.

She said the threats and speeches of Maulana Fazlur Rehman that he made against Imran Khan’s sit-in are also part of history. She reminded that it is the same parliament where the son of Maulana Fazlur Rehman is sitting and enjoying all the perks.
