Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that D Chowk is not our destination, we will now take control of the government.

He was addressing the participants of the Azadi March in Islamabad, and said that writ of the incumbent government has ended and now “we will run the country”.

He supported the demand of Rehbar Committee regarding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s resignation, and told the PTI-led ruling regime to step down calling the premier ‘unconstitutional and fake’.

Maulana Fazl refuted the government’s claims saying that all the roads to dialogue are blocked, and they will now take more ground decisions until they get rid of the incumbent government.

“Movement is the name of constant struggle”, he said adding that they do not want to worsen the situation.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman strongly criticized the economic policy of the government saying that the inflation is on the rise whereas the poor have been buried under the burden of debt.

The government should not test the patience of the opposition further and Prime Minister Imran Khan should resign immediately, he added.

He further added, “Poor people in Pakistan are unable to purchase ration for their children”, adding that Pakistan under the PTI-led government will further move down with each passing day.

Maulana refuting the rumors about conflict between opposition parties and expressed that all the opposition parties are in contact to topple the incumbent government.
